 Garnet Silk was one of the most promising and talented Jamaican singers in the late 80's and early 90's until his untimely death in 1994. He was hailed as the "new Bob Marley" because of his unique vocal talents and because he set cultural roots music back on the map after the slackness in the 80's. He continues to be an inspiration until today to many young singers, and his music will live on forever. For those of you who don't know him, just download and judge for yourself.
